Shawnna
Shawnna graduated with her Bachelors degree of science in 1996 and had the opportunity to practice dental hygiene in several states before settling in Washington.
She became part of the Tyee Dental team in 2011. She enjoys building relationships with her patients & helping them achieve & maintain healthy smiles. It is important to her that everyone knows how their oral health impacts their overall health.
Shawnna is happily married and they have 5 grown children between them. Hanging out with their grandkids is one of their favorite pastimes! They also enjoy boating, camping, and time at the beach during our beautiful northwest summers.
Meagan
Meagan is a Certified Dental Assistant that has been with us since 2017. She was hand picked while still a student and continues to shine bright as our lead assistant. Meagan was born, raised, and still resides in Aberdeen, Washington. She likes hiking, crafts, and spending time with her parents with her finance, Scott. On the weekends she enjoys working at Billy’s Bar and Grill as a server. She highly recommends the Chicken Almond Bacon Salad. Yumm. Meagan is also an Adjunct Professor for Radiology Lab at South Puget Sound Community College. We are so blessed to have her excellence and expertise here at Tyee Dental to share with all our patients.
Kerri
Kerri started in the dental field in 2007. She started with Tyee Dental in 2021. Kerri enjoys building relationships with her team and patients, and loves a good laugh. She wants to make sure everyone feels comfortable and informed when they come to the office.
When Kerri is not at work she likes to get together with her family for BBQ’s and outings. She and her husband Jon are Nascar fans and love to travel around. Or go camping with their two dogs Bon & Lita. They just like to find the fun in everything! Between the two of them they have 5 children and some precious grandchildren.
Whitney
Whitney joined our team in 2020. She graduated with honors from Eastern Washington University in 2012 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Dental Hygiene. She was born and raised in Tumwater. Whitney tries to ease stress for her patients with her bubbly personality to make your appointment as easy as visiting a friend.
When Whitney is not at work, she’s homeschooling her two young children and spending quality time with her husband. They enjoy boating in the Puget Sound, gardening, and board games together.
Kati
Kati graduated from SPSCC in 2017 with her AAS in Dental Assisting. She joined the Tyee Dental family in 2021. She enjoys talking to patients and helping them feel at ease in the office. You will also find her up front helping Kerri with front office work.
When not at work Kati enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 kids. They like going on day trips and being outdoors. They love going on family vacations and concerts.
Kati also loves to read and bake or do crafts in her off time.
Kati S
Kati graduated from dental hygiene school in 2015. She has been in the field since 2004 working as an orthodontic assistant and enjoys all aspects of dentistry! At the dental office, we’re like family; we truly enjoy each other’s company and the practice atmosphere where it makes it a great place to work. Kati grew up in Shelton and always loved the small-town feel. She is a mother of three sweet children, two boys and a girl. Kati enjoys good food and the occasional glass of wine. Movie night Fridays with her family are her FAVORITE!
Ella
Ella graduated with her Dental Assisting certification in June of 2025. She is excited to bring her skills and enthusiasm to the Tyee Dental family. Ella enjoys connecting with patients and helping them feel comfortable during their visits. She has always loved working with her hands, which naturally led her to a career in dental assisting.
When not at work, Ella enjoys spending time sewing and baking. She loves creating handmade projects, trying new recipes, and sharing her baked treats with friends and family.
